Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, with support from the Ontario Government, offer rebates for eligible home-efficiency improvements. Homeowners may choose certain single upgrades or bundle upgrades for additional savings.

Eligible cold-climate air-source and ground-source heat pumps can provide efficient heating and cooling.

Smart thermostats

Up to $100

Eligible connected thermostats can help improve comfort and manage home energy use.

Heat pump water heaters

Available through the bundled-upgrade path that requires a home energy assessment.

Other home upgrades

More savings

Insulation, windows and doors, air sealing, solar panels and battery storage may also qualify.

Start with eligibility,

    Confirm eligibility

    Use the official program questionnaire to check your home, heating source and upgrade.

  2. 02

    Follow the program pathway

    Some upgrades require an energy assessment; heat-pump applications require a participating contractor and pre-approval.

  3. 03

    Wait for approval

    Do not install eligible heat-pump equipment before required pre-approval is received.

  4. 04

    Complete the upgrade

    Keep invoices and required documents so the post-installation application can be completed.
